We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to lead our marketing efforts, focusing on strategy creation, project management, IP-partner relations, collaboration, analytics, and managing creative development.

Responsibilities include building the marketing strategy, leading the planning and implementation process, managing partner relationships, analyzing campaign effectiveness, and briefing and managing agencies.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of marketing experience, excellent communication and organizational skills, and a passion for gaming.

They will work collaboratively with teams across the organization to set up and manage global campaigns, analyze in-game data and sales, and drive acquisition, retention, and monetization.

Job Summary

As the Marketing Manager of our IP-based game projects, you will drive strategy, develop the go to market plans and post-launch live campaigns, and lead the cross-functional teams and agencies in the execution of those plans. You will be responsible for delivering against a range of KPIs to drive awareness, consideration, purchase, and post-purchase engagement.

Your main arena of influence will be the following:
  • Strategy Creation: Build the marketing strategy including consumer insights, situational analysis, and competitive insights.
  • Project Management: Lead the detailed planning and implementation process to meet defined goals. 
  • IP-Partner Relations: Manage end-to-end approval cycles and weekly relationships with our partners, be the face and contact point for all communications in relation to your game. 
  • Collaboration: Work in conjunction with the Production, QAC and social media teams to set up and manage global campaigns. 
  • Analytics: Analyze and report on campaign effectiveness leading to launch. Post launch, analyze in-game data and sales to further drive acquisition, retention, and monetization. 
  • Manage Creative Development: Brief and manage agencies to deliver best in class creative executions.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5-7 years consumer product marketing experience, of which a majority spent in games. You have demonstrated marketing & strategic analysis skills with an ability to map an understanding of business drivers. You’ve also launched a couple of games in this time.
  • You have no problem taking ownership and responsibility for your work. Getting things done is what you strive for! 
  • You have some experience of leadership: you can establish a clear vision, and then rally partners and cross functional teams to strive to achieve it.
  • Games marketing, from strategy and planning to execution, is what you know, but you still have the ability to learn new markets quickly and can adjust to changes in market dynamics and competitive landscapes. 
  • Innovation/Creativity: Not afraid to try new things. Can come up with creative ideas and/or elicit creative ideas from others. 
  • Working in a team is not an issue for you, you’ll treat everyone equally and strive to make the team succeed. 
  • Experience with working with IP-based games is a huge plus, but also knowledge around entertainment IP’s will be viewed favorably.

This position is fully remote, the candidate is ideally located either in the North American or European time zone.
